🚗⚠️ RSA Roadshow Delivers Powerful Road Safety Workshops at Millstreet Community School ⚠️🚗

Millstreet Community School was delighted to host the RSA Roadshow on Thursday and Friday of last week, with all students across the school getting the opportunity to take part in this outstanding and impactful road safety workshop.

Over the two days, students engaged in a series of hands-on, real-life demonstrations designed to highlight the importance of safe behaviour on the roads. A standout feature was the rollover car, which allowed students to safely experience what happens during a serious road traffic collision when a vehicle turns upside down. This proved to be a powerful reminder of the importance of seatbelts and responsible driving.

Students also took part in virtual reality simulations, which vividly demonstrated the dangers and consequences of impaired driving, distraction, and poor decision-making behind the wheel. These immersive experiences helped bring road safety messages to life in a way that was both engaging and memorable.

The RSA Roadshow delivered vital, age-appropriate messages that encouraged students to reflect on their own behaviour as drivers, passengers, cyclists, and pedestrians. The workshops were extremely well received and sparked meaningful discussion among students and staff alike.
