MCS Parents’ Council
As the Parent/Guardian of a Student in MCS, you are automatically a member of the Parents’ Council. Meetings are held at regular intervals during the year and you will receive notification via text message.
The focus of Parents’ Council Meetings is:
· To work for the good of students and the school community.
· To confirm collaboration and partnership within the school community.
· To obtain information and share information.
· To discuss school policies.
· To fundraise by prior agreement
· To make plans and monitor activities.
· To reach and communicate decisions.
The Parents’ Council does not have the role or responsibility of dealing with complaints against members of the school staff or Principal. Such complaints should be taken directly to the Principal/Secretary of the Board of Management by the parents or guardians concerned. The Parents’ Council does not have a role or responsibility in the provision or management of the School Curriculum, these are matters for School Management.
