Senior Ladies South Munster Champions Celebrated at Millstreet Community School

Millstreet Community School is celebrating a fantastic achievement following our Senior Ladies team’s victory in the South Munster Championship.

The girls produced an outstanding performance to come out on top against Scoil Mhuire Kanturk in a competitive and well-contested final. The match was played in excellent spirit, with both teams displaying great skill and determination throughout. Our players showed exceptional teamwork, resilience, and composure to secure a well-deserved win and bring the title back to Millstreet.

To mark this success, the team was welcomed back to school with a special celebratory breakfast. Staff and students gathered to recognise the achievement and to congratulate the players on their hard work and dedication. A highlight of the morning was the team proudly parading the cup, giving the entire school community an opportunity to share in the celebrations.

This victory is a testament to the commitment and effort shown by the players throughout the year, as well as the guidance and support of their coaches and mentors. It is a proud moment for the school and an inspiration to all students.
