Success at the ARTiculation Public Speaking Project
Congratulations to the four students from Millstreet Community School who recently took part in the ARTiculation Public Speaking Project held at the Ashe Memorial Hall in Tralee this week.
ARTiculation is a prestigious public speaking initiative that encourages students to develop their confidence, research skills and appreciation of art by presenting around the themes of art, artefacts and architecture. Our students represented the school with great enthusiasm and spoke thoughtfully about their chosen works, demonstrating excellent preparation and presentation skills.
A special congratulations goes to Taylor, who impressed the judges with her engaging presentation on the “Kindred Spirits” sculpture. As a result of her outstanding performance, Taylor has been selected to progress to the National Final, which will take place in late April.
We are extremely proud of all four students who participated and represented the school so well. Their dedication and hard work are a credit to themselves and to Millstreet Community School.
We wish Taylor the very best of luck as she prepares for the national stage.
