Orange/Yellow Fundraiser for Pieta House

The Ambassadors Schools/ Amber Flag Group in TY have been busy organising the Poc Fada and Colour Jumper Day this week. Both are for the lead up to the Darkness into Light (fundraising for Pieta House) event taking place this Saturday 8th May, with our Colour Jumper Day fundraiser also going to Pieta House.

This is part of our whole-school approach to mental health, reducing stigma and promoting resilience and well-being. Getting out in the air for a while during the school day and having a go at the poc fada reminds us of the positive effect of physical exercise on our mental health.

All students are invited to show their support for the school’s well-being and positive mental health initiative, so come in on Friday wearing an orange or yellow top, to brighten up the school and support one another, and remember to have your €2 to help fund this vital service for young people.
