TY1 Fundraiser for SVP

John Warren of @YoungSVP @SVPIreland was invited back to MCS today to tell the students about his work with the organisation and to accept the €350 raised by the TY1 Cake Sale in January. This money will go to the SVP Homeless Hostel in Cork. John and the group discussed homelessness, poverty and volunteerism and TY1 will present a project on the work they did with SVP at the Youth Day in Cork in April. Thanks to Mrs Randles, coordinator.
