A Fantastic Open Night at Millstreet Community School

Millstreet Community School was delighted to welcome 4th, 5th and 6th class students and their parents into the school for our annual Open Night.

There was a fantastic atmosphere throughout the building as families had the opportunity to explore the school, meet our staff and students, and experience first-hand what life at MCS has to offer.

Throughout the evening, our future students were able to visit our excellent facilities and experience the wide range of subjects and opportunities available at Millstreet Community School. Visitors explored our Science laboratories, Engineering and Construction Studies rooms, Robotics and technology facilities, Languages and many other subject areas across the school.

Most importantly, families had the opportunity to interact directly with our teachers and current students, ask questions and get a genuine insight into everyday life at MCS.

A particular word of thanks must go to the many MCS students who returned to school for the evening to help. They were outstanding ambassadors for Millstreet Community School, welcoming visitors, providing tours, assisting teachers, demonstrating activities and speaking to our future students about their own experiences. We are extremely proud of the manner in which they represented their school.

Millstreet Community School is very proud of its strong links with the local community. Open Night is always a particularly enjoyable occasion as it gives us the opportunity to welcome members of our community into the school and showcase not only our excellent facilities, but also the people, relationships and opportunities that make MCS such a special place.

We would also like to extend a huge thank you to Seány Radley for capturing the evening through his fantastic photographs and for continuing to be such a brilliant asset and supporter of our school.

Our Open Night coverage is not finished yet! Over the coming days, we will be sharing a series of photographs and reels from the evening on our Instagram and Facebook pages, showcasing even more of what was happening throughout the school.

We will also be publishing further notices and information regarding online enrolment.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make Open Night such an enjoyable and positive evening. We look forward to welcoming many of our visitors back to Millstreet Community School as students in the future.
