First Years and TY Mentors Enjoy Action-Packed Day at Star Adventure Centre

Students from Millstreet Community School had an active and memorable outing this week as the First Year group, accompanied by their TY Mentors, travelled to Star Adventure Centre in Kenmare for a full day of activities.

The programme for the day was both varied and energetic. Students took on the Gauntlet obstacle course, challenging themselves and encouraging one another as they navigated the different elements. There was no shortage of laughter and friendly rivalry during Splatball, and the fun continued with a round of crazy golf. Archery offered a chance to test focus and precision, while a scavenger hunt ensured everyone stayed engaged and on the move from start to finish.

The aim of the trip was not only to provide enjoyable outdoor experiences but also to strengthen the bonds between First Years and their TY Mentors as they continue to work together throughout the school year. Judging by the smiling faces — and the quiet bus on the return journey — the day was both well spent and well enjoyed.
