Millstreet Community School Welcomes Future Students at Open Night
Millstreet Community School was delighted to open its doors recently
for our annual Open Night, welcoming students and families from all our local national schools. The evening offered a fantastic opportunity for visitors to experience firsthand what life at MCS is all about.
Guests were guided through the school by our own students, who proudly showcased the wide range of subjects and facilities we offer, including Engineering, Construction Studies, Art, and Home Economics Displays of student work and live demonstrations helped give a real sense of the creativity, innovation, and hands-on learning that take place every day in our classrooms.
We were also proud to highlight our Modern Foreign Languages provision—French and German—now proudly joined by Spanish, our newest subject offering, reflecting our commitment to broadening student opportunities.
The atmosphere in the school was warm, welcoming, and full of pride as our students spoke confidently about their experiences and achievements. Their involvement and enthusiasm were a real credit to the spirit of Millstreet Community School.
A sincere thank you to all visiting families for taking the time to explore our school community, and to our students and staff who helped make the evening such a success. We look forward to welcoming many of these young learners back as first years in the near future.
