Spring In The Air

With the rise in temperatures and drier weather, students were out with the spades and pitchforks getting ready for the growing season. 5th Year Agricultural Science students, under the guidance of Tony Dineen, carefully sowed this year’s potato crop. ‘As you sow, so shall you reap’, the saying goes, so a timely lesson for 5th years with a big academic year ahead, and they are on the right track.

Ty students have been continuing their work with Tidy Towns, building skills and getting to grips with voluntary work and all the benefits it brings. They;ve been working with Ms Lyons, getting Pollinator Park rwady for the new growing season.
