First Year Parents Welcome Night

First Years, together with their families, celebrated another big step on their journey and marked their successful transition to MCS. Principal Mr O’Síodhcháin provided some important information and advice to both students and parents, and complimented the First Years on their enthusiasm, energy and work ethic, all of which are clearly to be seen in this group.

Their musical talents contributed to the Mass, celebrated by Canon Fitzgerald, prepared by the group with the assistance of TY students Maebh, Aoife and Eabha, musical directors for the night. Introductions and readings were also delivered impeccably.

Parents, students and staff adjourned for coffee afterwards in the canteen, getting to know one another before sharing the journey to graduation in 2025!
