The MCS Intermediate Camogie qualified for the County Final on December 7th in Fermoy, against Cólaiste Chraoibhín. Millstreet were well up for the semi-final but faced both tough opposition and near-gale force winds in the first half. Half time could not come soon enough and Millstreet found themselves on the wrong side of a 1-1 to 2-2 scoreline.

A determined Millstreet came out in the second half ready to take full advantage of the conditions. However, Fermoy added on two quick points and at this point it was looking grim. However, Erin started to reel in the opposition with a pointed free, before the sisters, Shauna and Grace, in the full forward line rattled in two goals, with a third from Hannah. Millstreet held out with the aid of the wind, four points up and heading for the final. Management Ms Fitzgerald and Ms Sheehy and the team are now focused on preparing for the final in January.
